Jordan National Gallery of Fine Arts

Jordan National Gallery of Fine Arts is one of the major art museums in the Middle East. Located in Amman, the museum was inaugurated in 1980 and held under the patronage of His Majesty the late King Hussein and Her Majesty Queen Noor Al Hussein.

The permanent collection comprises over 2800 works including painting, sculpture, ceramic, photography by more than 1000 artists from countries mainly in Asia and Africa, such as Ali Nassiri, Dia Azzawi and Fumio Kitaoka…

In 2013, The Royal Society of Fine Arts (RSOFA) was organising Jordan’s Largest Art Exhibition and hosted an art exhibition titled “70 Years of Contemporary Jordanian Art”, showcasing over 200 works created by 195 Jordanian artists from different generations.
